06/03/2010 Chicago Transit Authority to prevent the ban mature video ads
Preliminary injunction preventing the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) from the prohibition of M-and AO-rated ads in video games is now here to stay. GamePolitics has PDF U.S. District Judge Rebecca Pallmeyer 's May 17 ruling that the place "permanent ban" on CTA decree â„– 008-147, which banned mature rated ads.

CTA has agreed not to appeal the decision - perhaps because he 's been stuck with paying Entertainment Software Association Lawyers 's' fees on this issue. According to the court document, if the CTA violated permanent injunction, the ESA has the right to send the bill on the future of CTA attorneys 'fees' . ESA President Mike Gallagher said, "We are pleased that the CTA chose not to continue this work and spend precious resources on this issue."

Meanwhile, the California bill takes his game all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court .
